SAT Study Resources
The following are my preferred SAT test preparation websites. Their usefulness does not end there—these sites provide information and instruction that can be helpful to all students. It goes without saying that the College Board’s website should be consulted prior to taking the SAT. They are the creators of the SAT and students are required to have an account to even sign up. Don’t wait to familiarize yourself with everything there.
Khan Academy
With the 2016 redesign of the SAT, the College Board partnered with Khan Academy to create a free SAT study program. The 10 official College Board practice SATs are available here, as is a decent amount of study material. As one quickly discovers when navigating the site, however, the individual topics of review have limited practice and there are no actual test-taking strategies taught on the site.
PrepScholar Blog
General information about the SAT (including test-taking strategies) and a comprehensive list of free study resources.
Purple Math
A free resource for specific math lessons that does not involve numerous videos. Text based problems are accompanied by detailed solutions and explanations.
CrackSAT.NET
A free resource for general SAT practice questions. Helpful particularly for its long list of reading comprehension practice sections.
